Apple Business: Apple's New All-in-One Platform for Enterprises
Apple Goes All-In on Business
Apple has announced Apple Business, a new all-in-one platform launching April 14 that unifies device management, communication tools, and customer discovery into a single service for businesses of all sizes.
Key Features
Built-In Mobile Device Management (MDM): Apple Business offers comprehensive device management from a single interface. New "Blueprints" allow businesses to preconfigure device settings and apps, enabling zero-touch deployment — new Apple products are ready to use out of the box.
Business Email and Calendar: Companies can now set up business email, calendar, and directory services with their own domain names directly through Apple, eliminating the need for third-party email hosting.
Customer Discovery: A new option coming this summer will enable businesses in the US and Canada to place local ads in Apple Maps during key search and discovery moments. Businesses can also connect with local customers across Apple Maps, Mail, Wallet, and Siri.
AppleCare+ for Business: Upgraded iCloud storage and priority support options are available as add-ons.
Strategic Significance
This represents Apple's most ambitious push into the enterprise market. Previously available as Apple Business Essentials (US-only subscription), Apple Business globalizes and expands the offering significantly:
- Available in 200+ countries and regions at launch
- Targets businesses "in every stage and sector" — from small businesses without dedicated IT resources to large enterprises
- Directly competes with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and mobile device management vendors like Jamf
- The Maps advertising feature puts Apple in direct competition with Google's local search ad business
Pricing and Availability
Apple Business launches April 14, 2026. Pricing tiers have not yet been announced, but the platform is positioned as a unified replacement for what previously required multiple separate services.
